Diary 2010

I recently ran a workshop, as visiting artist, at St Ignatius Primary School. The occasion was their latest 'Art Day', a day which the whole school dedicates to making art. This year, the theme was 'One World', and activities included making Russian Dolls, Batik and many more. I worked with Year 1 on bird kites, inspired by some fine Chinese examples. The morning ended with a session in the playground, testing how well the kites flew. And I'm pleased to report that they flew really well!
